Use Amazon's Wish List to get the Gifts You Want

I find Amazon's wish-lists very useful. I can easily record the things I want and share it with others such on Facebook. In this way, when my birthday is comes, people can see my wish list and they might get me a little something from it So if you do not have an Amazon account, create one to start a list and guide people to what you want. Then, head over to your Amazon wish list settings to set up delivery address. Now, start adding to your list and publish it on your social sites. Lastly, be patient, it takes time. Your Birthday is only once a year.

Back Up Your Music With Amazon Cloud Drive.

Are you backing up your music? The answer right away should be yes! Just recently, Amazon released a new service called Amazon Cloud drive. It allows you to upload your music to Amazon's S3 servers and stream it to any device. At the same time, you are doing a complete backup of your music. If you have an Amazon account you are eligible right away, if not, make an account! Initially for having an account you receive 5GB of free storage. Now, what if you want 20GB? There is a trick, you may upgrade to 20GB by just buying an album from the Amazon MP3 Store every year. I found one for only $0.98! I bought Rain for Sleeping and Relaxation. So here is the recap. I have secured my music to Amazon 20Gb Cloud Drive for only $0.98 plus I can play my music anywhere by logging on to Amazons Cloud Player. Great!

A little about Wikileaks and what we should learn from it

We are not a news site but an advice/tip technology site yet Wikileaks can share with us something very valuable. Yes, it has been in the news lately because of the controversal war documents it has released to the world. In my opinion, I favor this. Although the government may disagree. Various technology companies have put pressure on Wikileaks, like their DNS provider and Amazon with their hosting to shut down their service to Wikileaks. I believe no criminal act has been done to leak these documents. They are just a journalistic company like The New York Times. If you go to Wikileaks.com it might be blocked but there are many mirror sites, 507 sites to be exact. Wikileaks still lives and will never end. It's on the internet. Where am I heading with this? Everything online lives. As a user on Facebook, I see things that you may not want to have online. Do you have embarrassing pictures on there? Think about your future. I see Wikileaks as a great example to the power of technology for the good and the bad. In the case of Wikileaks,

I agree! This site will battle big corporations and governments to be transparent.

Amazon Prime Deal for Students

I have been using Amazon Prime for a couple of years now and has been worth every cent. For those that don't know what Amazon Prime is, it is Amazon's subscription service that gives you access to exclusive sales/items and free 2-Day shipping (not every item is applicable. Prime is mainly used by those who use Amazon a lot and can get their money's worth through the shipping costs but today students can use it for 1-year with the low price of FREE. The only requirements are that the student has to be currently enrolled in a college or university, have a valid .edu email address, and input the college/university you're going to and your major.
